Phoebe Morris, the illustrator of Sky High by David Hill, will launch the book at Ekor next week, a few days before The Curious Ar-Chew by Sarah Grundy (2016 Storylines Joy Cowley Award, illustrated by Ali Teo and John O'Reilly) will be launched at The Children's Bookshop. Scholastic NZ is holding a warehouse sale in both Auckland and Christchurch. And our buddy Jane Bloomfield is judging a short story competition.
We're excited to see what the soon-to-be-launched new children's book publisher, OneTree House, will do! They've just launched a crowdfunding appeal to kick things off.
